The mask seems to be able to be taken off as shown in certain cutscenes. His eyes are visible through the mask, which glow with a light purple/magenta color, with the eyes itself seemingly being able to "blink" despite not being a part of his body. The mask itself has a dark purple color with metallic gold tip at the "beak" and the stitches at the side of the beak. One of the most noticeable accessory this hunter has is the birdlike Plague doctor mask with a black fedora the hunter wears as part of the raven-themed design of this hunter. The "Nightmare" also wears a bluish-black jeans with one big hole on the right ankle joint and brown shoes with purple tint. A necklace with that seems to be a vial with purple liquid attached to it is also visible on the chest. The white shirt has a large rip throughout the anterior elbow's sleeves parts, which is possibly due to the massively bloated/muscular forearm he has. Under the shirt, he wears a white shirt with the same worn down details the vest has. In terms of clothing, the "Nightmare" wears a dark purple vest with multiple signs of aging and worn down parts with uneven jagged lines at the sleeves and bottom hem. His voice has a noticeable reverb/ghostly echoing effect to his voice, with a heavy voice reminiscent of Orpheus's survivor voice. Tattoos of musical notes can be seen on both of his forearm, yet it's unknown as to what significance this musical notes are at the moment. A noticeable physical trait that the "Nightmare" has are the various bird-like traits that can be seen from the Plague doctor-esque mask and the three fingers with metallic-gold talons on each arms, save from one finger covered with a exaggerated quill tip on his right hand. Various lengths of long, blue hairs with green tints has grown from the back of the head & neck of the hunter.
He seems to show an excess buildup of either muscle or fat on his chest, shoulders and forearms, which is likely a sign of excess hypertrophy mutation. He exists as a tall, bulky being with disproportionate proportions that progressively gets more wider from the waist and above with grey, lifeless skin. "Nightmare" is a dark manifestation/personality trait of the Detective/ Orpheus himself.
